Once your students have worked through the project, even if you've cherry-picked a few activities, they could reflect on what they've learnt by putting together an action guide in the form of a magazine or newspaper.

Each student could produce an article for the magazine on any aspect of their project. Some possible areas for them to report on are water testing results, water pollution - local or global issues, or general facts about water.

The magazine can be full of a variety of different sources. It could contain written articles, data, letters to the local government regarding pollution issues, cartoon strips, ideas for a competition or crossword, or a presentation to the class or year group.

Students could be told what their contribution to the magazine will be, depending on their abilities. This provides an opportunity for differentiation.
