Evaluating
the Case Study
Several methods
were used to evaluate the Grandbuddies Project. Students completed
a survey, "What
I Think About Older People" prior to and following
their participation in the project. Their senior partners
were asked to complete the "Grandbuddies
Project Evaluation Form" at the project's conclusion.
Teachers conducted classroom discussions and assigned written
work to assess whether the educational goals and objectives
had been reached. The following sections detail the results
of the evaluation process:
